Round 2 of Charlick’s Lunch Series is upon us. Charlick’s is a place of simple pleasures and we want to share a few of the simple things with you. Each month we are going to showcase something a little bit special, whether that is food, booze or a little bit of both.
On the 14th of December we invite you to join us as Charlotte Hardy of Charlotte Dalton Wines walks us through some of her lovingly crafted Adelaide Hills drops. Charlotte’s philosophy behind her wines is simple, they are made to bring her joy, happiness and contentedness, and when shared, hopefully to pass those feelings onto others.
Accompanying Charlotte’s wines will be 5 courses from the Charlick’s kitchen lead by Blake Drinkwater. Blake’s passion for food comes from sharing his creations with others and challenging people to really think about what they are eating. This lunch will feature dishes from a brand new Summer menu focusing on displaying fresh seasonal produce in a new and exciting light. An air of nostalgia surrounds much of Blake’s cooking as inspiration is taken from childhood classics and fond memories around the dinner tables of family and friends.
So gather round the Charlick’s family table, let our food challenge and excite you while the wines bring you joy as we show that the Friday Long lunch isn’t a lost art.
